Kellie Martin is an American TV, film and stage actress. Her most famous role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) in the period drama Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Kellie Martin is most famous for her role as the protagonist in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher Martin was able to begin her acting career in the age of seven, when her aunt who worked as a nanny for actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing her a role in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.". After graduating from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed significant roles both on the smaller and big screen. Martin is, in addition to being an excellent actress and dancer, is also an accomplished ballet photographer. Her sister, who died from Lupus at age 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
